Vernly produces two fly reels – the Vernly Stone and Vernly Air.
Our reels have been used by anglers all over the world – from Jackson Hole, Wyoming to Hokkaido, Japan (pictured below).

Our story
Vernly was started in Washington, D.C. by Taylor McKnight, a design leader, business media executive, and outdoor enthusiast.
McKnight imagined what a high-class recreation and leisure brand might look like in 50 years and then set to work turning that vision into a reality.
McKnight collaborated with a top fly reel manufacturer with 25+ years of industry experience to design and optimize the current Vernly Air and Vernly Stone reel models.
Our goal is to deliver the highest quality products and experiences possible.

Coming soon
Vernly's next fly fishing product will be a reel case made of sustainable leather derived from persimmon skins. The case will be hand-crafted in Italy.
